Admission prerequisites

Enrollment is restricted. In order to create a dynamic community of able and successful students we require students to document the following abilities and to submit the respective documents:

  • Certified copy of first degree (Bachelor, Master, Diploma) from a recognized university from a program of at least 6 semesters with an appropriate major. Applicants who have not completed their first degree at the time of application can apply with the latest transcript. However in case of admission the Bachelor degree needs to be presented upon enrollment in October.
  • Sound knowledge of micro- and macroeconomics and quantitative methods.
  • Sound knowledge of English, documented by the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) of at least 100 or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of at least 7.0 overall. The results of the test should be submitted with the application.
  • A one page statement of intent.
  • Fully completed application form.
  • Grade point average (GPA) of at least 2,5* (German grading system)
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Recommended additional documents:

  • GRE / GMAT
  • Recommendation letters from two professors of  previous studies or former employers.

Please note that the admission board only accepts certified copies of degrees documents and transcripts. If you do not forward the TOEFL/IELTS and GRE scores through ETS/British Council the copies also need to be certified!
